There is enough matter that matters the most

Yes, indeed it's been 2 years since I wrote something. Time enough to count as some experience...and so the theme of my note today.
Every moment in life throws something. The way it leaves you, determines it's worth in creating an impact. The world is full of such dynamic transformations, yet we feel it could be faster, better and more every time. There is only so much that matters the most and there is only that much required to hold that matter. It could be the grey brain cells that hold you hostage with the day that was, with the dreams of the day that would be and of course with the thoughts of the day it could have been... Of all these what matters the most is the day that was, contrary to many believers of the past not being the predictor of the future. If it was not so, there wouldn't be one person who could see oneself better. The reason, where is the reference? There wouldn't be the zeal to out perform the could haves of yesterday, that spilt over to the today, to only leave a to do for tomorrow. In all this, where is the qualitative differentiation of what mattered and what didn't? Set out to find answers to this, you would find that if one focused on what to count and what to discount, it would matter to leave some space for fresh thoughts that bring novel solutions, not for oneself for the day or two, but for times to come and for community at large. There would be enough to ponder, if there wasn't a gate keeper to the grey matter garden, and the gate keeper being the judgment that came from yesterday for the day making each day smarter and leaner in what matters.
